Job Description: 1) Primary school teacher (class 1 To 5) For Daman District Number of Vacancies: 41 (SC: 6, ST: 3, OBC: 10, UR: 22) For Diu District Number of Vacancies: 39 (SC: 6, ST: 3 OBC: 9, UR: 22) What is the Eligibility Criteria to Apply: Educational Qualification: (a) Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE ((Recognition Norms and Procedure)Regulation 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50 % marks and 4 year Bachelor or Elementary Education (B. EI.ED). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). (b) He/She should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). N.B.: In case sufficient TET pass candidates are not available, non TET pass candidates will be considered. Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 01.07.2013 Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC The upper age limit relaxable for departmental candidates up to 40 years/ 45 years in case of SC/ST candidates/43 years in case of OBC candidates 2) Upper Primary School Teacher (Class 6 to 8) For Daman District Number of Vacancies: 40 (SC: 6, ST: 2, OBC: 10, UR: 22) For Diu District Number of Vacancies: 39 (SC: 6, ST: 3 OBC: 9, UR: 22) What is the Eligibility Criteria to Apply: Educational Qualification: (a) Candidates should have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50 % marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.ED). OR B.A./B.SC/B.COM with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in education (B.ED) in accordance with the NCTE Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard.
