Pay scale will be of Rs. 5200-20200 in the grade pay of Rs.2000/- and other allowances given to the central government employees. Educational Qualification:
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for the different categories as per the following: For SC/ST: 5 years For OBC: 3 years For Government service candidates: Upper age limit up to 5 years For the candidates who had been domiciled in the state of J&K for the duration of 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989 are also eligible for upper age limit up to 5 years. For such age relaxation they have to produce a certificate from the concerned District Collector. For the children and dependent family members of those killed in the 1984 riots and 2002 communal riots of Gujarat, 5 years of age relaxation will be granted. Dates to Remember: The last date of receipt of application is 1st August, 2013. For the candidates from NorthEastern States, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba, Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur Districts of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh Division, Kashmir of J&K State and the Union Territories of Anadaman and Nicobar islands and the Lakshadweep, the closing date for receipt of applications by post 8th August, 2013. Application Fees: For the candidates of General and OBC categories, application fee will be Rs. 50. SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates do not have to pay any application fee. The candidates have to attach the non refundable Bank Draft drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer, FTR HQ, SSB, Siliguri, (West Bengal)" payable at SBI Siliguri, Code No.0184. Eligible candidates have to send their application in the prescribed format BY POST with two attested passport size photographs duly affixed on application form and admit card at the provided space along with application fee of Rs.50/- and attested copies of testimonials. Two self-addressed envelopes of 4"x9" size with Rs.25/- postage stamps should also be attached with the application form. The great painter Peter Paul Rubens was born In Germany on 28/6/1577 . Peter was raised in a quiet family atmosphere . Noting the boy’s lively intelligence, the father personally saw that young Peter received a Classical education. Rubens’ mother, who may not have shared an affinity for the Reformation, moved her family back to Antwerp in 1567 after her husband’s untimely death. Rubens was a prolific artist. His commissioned works were mostly religious subjects, “history” paintings, which included mythological subjects, and hunt scenes.
composer of India's national song Vande Mataram, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay was born in a village near Calcutta on 27/6/1838. He belonged to a family of Brahmins. The word ‘Bankim Chandra’ in Bengali means ‘the moon on the second day of the bright fortnight’. Bankim Chandra’s father Yadav Chandra Chattopadhyaya was in government service. After his birth he was posted to Midnapur as Deputy Collector.The book calls for the rise of Hindu nationalism to uproot the foreign Turko-Afghan Muslim rule of Bengal and put forth as a temporary alternative the East India Company till Hindus were fit for Self Rule. Bankim Chatterjee was superb story-teller, and a master of romance. No Bengali writer before or since has enjoyed such spontaneous and universal popularity as Chatterjee. His novels have been translated in almost all the major languages of India. He passed away on April 8, 1894.
