The India Post, Government of India will conduct the Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Examination, 2014 very soon. The written examination for India is likely to be held in the month of July 2014. Seeing India Post recruitment and the examination, here we have come up with India Post exam syllabus which helps you in preparation of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant (PA/ SA) written examination. We strongly recommended candidates to solve previous year question paper for complete details about Reasoning & Mental Ability section. Mathematics: There will be 10th (Matriculation) standard questions in this section. Candidates should cover basic maths starting with simplifications, approximations, ratios and proportions, simple and compound interests, percentages, averages, profit loss, time and distance, time and work, speed and distance, Mensuration etc. It will be great to focus on Mensuration and Simplifications as there will be more than 10 questions from these areas. Here will be no question from Data Interpretation. Refer to previous year question for more detail. English Grammar & Comprehension: English Language paper will be consist of its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. We strongly advised to go through the English Grammar completely. Read previous year questions for the types of questions which is asked in India Post Office examination. Paper II:Paper 2 is a computer based skill test to test candidates' knowledge of computer. Aspirants qualified in the written examination is only eligible to appear for this test and only qualified candidates are called for Computer / Typing Test. Computer / Typing Test: The skill test will be of 30 minutes. This test consists of two parts. Those are Typing Test (15 minutes) and Data Entry (15 minutes). Candidates must have ability to type 30 words per minute (in English) and 25 words per minute (in Hindi). |

| બ્રિટન નથી ભણવા જવું ઇન્ડિયન સ્ટુડન્ટ્સને, થયો જબરદસ્ત ઘટાડો Posted: 01 Apr 2014 06:47 AM PDT એક સમયે બ્રિટન વિદેશ ભણવા જવા માગતા ભારતીય સ્ટુડન્ટ્સમાં હોટ ફેવરિટ હતું. જોકે હાલના આંકડા દર્શાવે છે કે પરિસ્થિતિમાં જબરદસ્ત ફેરફાર આવી ગયો છે અને બ્રિટન જતા ભારતીય વિદ્યાર્થીઓની સંખ્યામાં ઉલ્લેખનીય ઘટાડો થયો છે. ભારતીય વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં ઘટાડો થવા માટે ઘણા કારણો જવાબદાર દેખાઈ રહ્યા છે. હાલમાં તો આના માટે બ્રિટનની કઠોર નીતિને પણ જવાબદાર ગણવામાં આવે છે.  આવી જ રીતે પાકિસ્તાનના વિદ્યાર્થીઓની સંખ્યા ૧૦૯૮૪થી ઘટીને ૪૯૪૭ થઇ ગઈ છે. જોકે આંકડાઓના આધારે કહી શકાય કે ચીનના વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં નવ ટકાનો તેમજ બ્રાઝિલીયન વિદ્યાર્થીઓની સંખ્યામાં ૧૪૭ ટકાનો વધારો થયો છે. |
| હવે ખાતામાં મિનિમમ બેલેન્સ કરતા ઓછા પૈસા હશે તો નહીં ફટકારી શકાય દંડ Posted: 01 Apr 2014 06:42 AM PDT આજે રિઝર્વ બેન્ક ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા દ્વારા નવી નીતિ પ્રમાણે હવે જો તમારા બેન્કના સેવિંગ્સ ખાતામાં મિનિમમ બેલેન્સ કરતા ઓછા પૈસા હોય તો પણ હવે બેન્ક કોઈ જાતનો દંડ નહીં ફટકારી શકે. બેન્કની દ્વિમાસિક મોનેટરી પોલીસીનું સ્ટેટમેન્ટ જાહેર કરતી વખતે રિઝર્વ બેન્કના ગર્વનર રઘુરામ રાજને કહ્યું છે કે 'બેન્ક આવી રીતે ગ્રાહકોની મજબુરી કે અણસમજનો ગેરલાભ નહીં લઈ શકે. બેન્કોએ આવી રીતે મિનિમમ બેલેન્સ કરતા ઓછા પૈસા હોય એવા ખાતાને દંડ ફટકારવા કરતા આવા ખાતાઓને બેન્ક દ્વારા આપવામાં આવતી સર્વિસ મર્યાદિત કરી દેવાનો વિકલ્પ અપનાવવો જોઈએ. આ સિવાય જે ખાતાઓ ઓપરેટ ન થતા હોય એના પર પણ દંડ ન ફટકારવો જોઈએ.' હાલમાં તમામ બેન્કોમાં સ્ટેટ બેન્ક ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા સેવિંગ્સ ખાતામાં મિનિમમ બેલેન્સ કરતા ઓછા પૈસા હોય તો કોઈ ચાર્જ નથી લેતી પણ એચડીએફસી અને આઇસીઆઇસીઆઇ બેન્કોમાં જો ગ્રાહકો શહેરી વિસ્તાર વિસ્તારમાં દસ હજારનું અને ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં પાંચ હજારનું મિનિમમ બેલેન્સ નહીં રાખે તો ક્વાર્ટર દીઢ 750 રૂપિયાનો દંડ ફટકારે છે. |
