| ગેસ અને અપચાથી બચવા કરો 5 મિનિટનો ઉપાય Posted: 10 May 2015 11:45 PM PDT અત્યારની ફાસ્ટ જીવનશૈલીને કારણે માણસને પેટની તકલીફ તો સામાન્ય થઈ ગઈ છે. આ ફાસ્ટ લાઈફમાં તમારે તમારી પેટની તકલીફો માટે ફક્ત પાંચ મિનિટ રોજ આપવાની છે. આ પાંચ મિનિટમાં તમારે પશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસન કરીને શરીરની સમસ્યા જેમકે ગેસ,અપચો,મંદાગ્નિ, અજીર્ણ, ઉદર રોગ, કૃમિ, વિકાર, સળેખમ જેવા બીજા પણ રોગથી બચી શકીએ છીએ. શરીરના આગળના ભાગને પૂર્વ અને પીઠ તરફના ભાગને પશ્ચિમ કહેવામાં આવે છે. આ આસનમાં શરીરના પશ્ચિમ ભાગનું ખેંચાણ થતું હોઈ તથા આ આસનની સિદ્ધિ થતાં પ્રાણ પશ્ચિમવાહી એટલે કે સુષુમ્ણામાં વહન થતો હોઈ આ આસનને પશ્ચિમોતાનાસન કહે છે. પશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસન કરવાની રીત આ આસનની શરૂઆત પગ લાંબા રાખી અથવા ચત્તા સૂઈને કરી શકાય છે. અંતિમ સ્થિતિ બંને રીતમાં એકસરખી જ થશે. અહીં ચત્તા સૂઈને આસન કેમ કરી શકાય તેનું વર્ણન કરેલું છે. ચત્તા સૂઈ જાઓ. હાથ મસ્તક તરફ લંબાવીને રાખો. બંને પગ ભેગા રાખી લાંબા કરો. પછી માથા તરફથી બંને હાથ ઉઠાવીને ઊંચા કાટખૂણે ઊભા કરો. અને તરત જ જમીનથી માથું ને ગરદન ઊઠાવી બંને હાથ બંને સાથળ ઉપર આવે તેમ કરો. ગોઠણમાંથી પગ વળે નહીં તેનું ધ્યાન રાખો. પછી પીઠ ઊંચકીને હાથને પગના પંજા તરફ લઈ જાઓ. હવે કમર ઊઠાવી પગના કાંડા પકડી ધડને આગળ લંબાવો અને ગોઠણ તરફ માથું નીચું નમાવો. અંતમાં ડાબા પગના અંગૂઠાને આંકડો ભરવો. તેવી જ રીતે જમણા પગના અંગૂઠાને આંકડો ભરવો. પછી બંને હાથની બંને કોણી બંને બાજુ જમીનને અડાડી દો. માથું નીચું નમાવીને બે પગ વચ્ચે મૂકી દો અગર નાક અડાડી દો. અહીં આ આસન પૂરું થયું. આ આસનનો સમય 15 સેકન્ડથી ધીરે ધીરે વધારીને ત્રણ મિનિટ સુધી કરી શકાય. શ્વાસોચ્છવાસ સ્વાભાવિક રીતે ચાલવા દેવો. પણ ધડને જ્યારે ગોઠણ તરફ નમાવવામાં આવે ત્યારે રેચક કરતાં કરતાં નમાવવું અને પછી શ્વાસોશ્વાસ સ્વાભાવિક રીતે ચાલુ રાખવો. આ આસન ઊભા રહીને કરવામાં આવે તો તેને હસ્તપાદાસન કહે છે. તેના લાભો પશ્ચિમોતાનાસન જેવા જ છે. પણ ઊભી સ્થિતિમાં કરવાનું હોઈ દેહની સમતુલા જાળવવાનું તેમાં વિશેષ છે. આ સિવાય એક પગ સીધો અને એક પગનો પંજો બીજા પગના સાથળ સાથે લગાવીને કરવામાં આવે તો કોઈ તેને અર્ધપશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસન અગર જાનુશિરાસન કહે છે. ઉપરોક્ત બંને આસનો પશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસનની પૂર્વતૈયારીરૂપ ગણી શકાય. પશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસન વધારે સારું કરવા માટે આ બંને આસનનો અભ્યાસ લાભકારક છે. ફાયદા આ આસન કરતાં ઉરૂની પાછળના ભાગના સ્નાયુઓ બરડાના અને ઉદરની પાછલી દિવાલના સ્નાયુઓ સંકોચ પામે છે. સાથે સાથે પગથી તે માથા સુધીના પીઠ પાછળની માંસપેશીઓ ખેંચાય છે. આને લીધે સ્નાયુઓ અને માસંપેશીઓ કસાઈને મજબૂત અને નીરોગી બને. કરોડરજ્જુ પર ખેંચાણ આવતા ત્યાં રૂધિરાભિસરણ થઈ નિર્બળ અને શિથિલ બનતા જ્ઞાનતંતુઓ ચેતનવંતા બની કાર્યશીલ થાય છે. નાડીઓમાં કફ અને આમ દૂર થઈ નાડીઓ મળરહિત, મૃદુ અને પુષ્ટ બને છે. આથી વાતવિકારને લીધે થતો બરડાનો દુઃખાવો અને કટિવાયુ મટે છે. કરોડ અને બસ્તીપ્રદેશના જ્ઞાનતંતુઓની નાડીઓ નીરોગી અને કાર્યક્ષમ બને. ઉદરની આગલી દિવાલના સ્નાયુઓ સંકોચાવાથી ઉદર પ્રદેશમાં આવેલ પેટની અંદરના અવયવો જેવાં કે જઠર, આંતરડાં, કલેજુ, બરોળ, મૂત્રપિંડ વગેરે સબળ બને છે. પાચક રસોનો સ્ત્રાવ ઝડપથી થવાથી જઠરાગ્નિ પ્રદીપ્ત બને છે. પાચનશક્તિ વધે છે. કફ, આમ અને મેદ નાશ પામે છે. પેટના સ્નાયુઓ પણ સબળ બને. પેટ ને કમર પરનું મેદ ઓછું થાય. ઉદર કૃશ બને છે તથા નૌલીકર્મ કરવામાં સહાયતા મળે છે. પશ્ચિમોત્તાનાસન કર્યા પછી શરીર હલકું લાગે છે. કુંડલિની શક્તિની જાગૃતિ માટે આ આસન શ્રેષ્ઠ છે. મનની શાંતિ તથા ચિત્તની સ્થિરતામાં આ આસનથી ખુબ મદદ મળે છે. કરોડ સ્થિતિસ્થાપક બને. સાવધાની કરોડ અક્કડ હોય તેનું માથું સામાન્ય રીતે ગોઠણને અડતું નથી. તેમ જ જેમનું પેટ મોટું હોય તેમને માટે પણ તે અશક્ય છે. પરંતુ શરૂઆતમાં કરોડ જેટલી વળે તેટલી વાળીને જ સંતોષ માનવો. પરાણે કે આંચકો મારીને વાળવાનો પ્રયત્ન હરગીજ ન કરવો. મોટી ઉંમરના હોય તેમની કરોડ અક્કડ થઈ ગઈ હોય છે એટલે તેમણે આ આસન ધીમે ધીમે ને કાળજીપૂર્વક કરોડની અક્કડતાનું ધ્યાન રાખીને કરવું અને આસન કર્યા પછી કરોડમાં દુઃખાવો ન થવો જોઈએ અથવા આ આસન કરવાને લીધે બેચેનીનો અનુભવ ન થવો જોઈએ. ગર્ભ રહ્યાના ત્રણ મહિના થયા હોય તેણે આ આસન કરવું નહીં. સારણગાંઠ તથા એપેન્ડીસાઈટીસ વાળા દર્દીઓએ આ આસન કરવું નહીં. |
