Central University of Gujarat has invited the applications for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for various Schools of studies/ Centers of studies. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 22-07-2013. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below… Central University of Gujarat Vacancy Details: Total No. of Posts: 41 Names of the Posts: 1. Professor: 09 Posts 2. Associate Professor: 20 Posts 3. Assistant Professor: 12 Posts Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers for Professor post, Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines and Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade for Associate Professor Post and good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR for Asst Professor post. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview. Application Fee: A crossed Demand Draft for Rs.500/- for candidates under 'General' and Rs.250/- for OBC category candidates (irrespective of whether the post is reserved for this category or not), drawn in favour of Central University of Gujarat, payable at Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad.
