Job Title: Assistant Professor, Law

Number of Vacancies: 4 (UR: 2, S & E.B.C.: 1 & ST: 1)

Salary: Rs. 15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-

What are the Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Assistant Professor, Law?

Educational Qualification:
A) Candidate must possess the Post Graduate Degree in Law with at least 55% or at least its equivalent grade of B from a recognized university or deemed university under UGC OR an equivalent two years degree from accredited foreign university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

Note:
1) Provide that candidates who belong to ST & different disabled should obtain 50 % in post graduate degree in Law.

2) Provide further that, candidates who completed their Ph. D degree and have obtained Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991 should have obtained 50 % or the grade C and 3 or more grade points in favour of the candidate.

B) Candidates have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor being conducted by UGC.
Note: Candidates who have been awarded by Ph. D degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of clearing NET/SLAT.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess the Bachelor's degree in Architecture or in Civil Engineering and should have Master Degree in planning recognized by ITPI or other equivalent qualification of any recognized university.

Experience: at least 7 years of post qualification

2) Job Title: Junior Town Planner (JTP)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess the Bachelor's degree in Architecture or in Civil Engineering and should have Master Degree in planning recognized by ITPI or other equivalent qualification of any recognized university.
